In late September, our Director of Operations, Matt Munzlinger, was awarded MPUA’s Robert Williams System Achievement Award at the 2024 MPUA Annual Conference! The System Achievement Award honors utilities for providing exceptional quality improvements in service to its customer-owners. It is named after Robert Williams, who led the City of Carthage in its restructuring of the utility and increased outreach efforts in the community, earning a Reliable Public Power Provider (RP3) designation. Nominees of the Robert Williams System Achievement Award should have achieved or sustained performance that was widely recognized in the municipal utilities field, served to enhance municipal utility prestige, improved service to customer-owners, and represented an earnest, coordinated effort on behalf of the utility. We congratulate Matt on his achievement and look forward to witnessing his continued impact on the HBPW!
