The City of Hannibal is required to provide public notice for the approval of any substantial modification of our Pretreatment program in accordance with 40 CFR 403.11 and 10 CSR 20-6.100 (9). The public is encouraged to submit comments about the proposed modifications in writing to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. The Hannibal Board of Public Works Pretreatment Program is designed to reduce conventional and toxic pollutant levels discharged by industries and other non domestic wastewater sources into municipal sewer systems and into the environment.
